Reloading Bullet

Accurate ammo is built on great design and disciplined technique. For straight-walled rounds like 350 Legend, 400 Legend, or 450 Bushmaster, every detail counts. Our all-copper bullets are designed for tight groups, but how you load them matters.

Set your jump-to-lands gap at 0.015" to 0.050". Even small changes here can tighten your groups. With these bullets, fine-tuning seating depth shapes pressure and the way the bullet meets the rifling. The result is reliable, repeatable accuracy.

Powder and Charge: Get It Right

The right powder makes a difference. Choose a burn rate that is balanced—not too fast, not too slow. A fast powder can spike pressures. Too slow will create inconsistencies. Test and adjust your charge in small increments until your velocity and accuracy hit their stride with our bullets. Small changes here can make a big difference.

Case prep is where consistency is made. Keep neck tension uniform, flash holes clean, and case lengths matched. These steps help each round release consistently and group tight.

  • Check that each case has the same neck tension. The standard we use for our ammunition is .004" to .006". If you need a bell stem modified, we do this as a service to our customers free of charge.
  • Case belling is critical to prevent shaving of copper when seating the bullet.
  • Taper crimp the bell flat with the loaded case body as the last step.
  • Clear flash holes for consistent ignition.
  • Deburr the inside of the case mouth for steady pressure.

We manufacture every copper bullet in-house in Michigan. Our team designs, tests, and refines each round with one goal: better results for dedicated hunters and reloaders. Every technical step in this comes from years of focused work building straight-walled ammo for the field.
